The Bay Shore Ballet Academy is known for developing technical excellence in young aspiring dancers and encouraging enthusiasm and self-esteem in its students. The studio is located at 305 Fels Avenue in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Classes are offered at all levels from beginning to advanced. The Bay Shore Ballet Theatre has showcased guest artists and principals of the Company along with aspiring students of the Academy since its inception in 1997. The Theatre has presented an array of beloved classics including Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, La Boutique Fantasque, Peter and The Wolf, Paquita and its annual production of The Nutcracker.

Bay Shore Ballet Theatre will present its annual performance of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, at the Fairhope Civic Center on December 13 and 14, 2008. This full-length staging of the legendary classic is sure to delight and charm audiences of all ages. 50 of ldwin County's most talented dancers will be featured in these performances.
