High School Seniors & Graduates: July 5th - July 30th

Junior Apprentices: Grades 6, 7 and 8: July 6th - July 31st


We are very pleased to announce our Summer Dance Intensives during July. The intensives will offer a flexible tuition rate to allow up to one week of vacation time for dancers during each of the 4 weeks sessions.


The summer intensive camp for Advanced Company level and our graduating class of seniors will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00am -1:45 pm


The Junior Apprentice level of summer intensives will be held at the same schedule on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.


The dancers in both intensives will learn and perform choreography from famous classics such as Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Swan Lake, and La Bayadere as choreography from contemporary jazz and modern works from Broadway and pop styles.


Classes will include a regular schedule of pointe, variations, jazz, modern, stretch, partnering,

and a wide range of choreography.


The faculty will include Janet Carole, director of the Academy and professional dancers

and teachers Tracy Peters, Kristiana Bell and Stephanie Barfield, with modern and stretch with Greta Bates.


During lunch breaks dancers will watch videos ballet the classics in performances with major international ballet companies and legendary stars along with discussions and dance history.


Summer Intensives Schedules:

11:15 - 12:00 -Variations, Pointe, Choreography

12:00 - 12:30 - Lunch Break, Video Classics

12:30 - 1:45 - Contemporary, Modern and Jazz

1:45 - 2:15 - Open for Dancer’s Choreography

For both Summer Intensives, each dancer should bring a bagged lunch for the 1⁄2 hour lunch break, during which we will watch videos of the classics and learn about dance history, ballet companies, and legendary performers from around the world.


Dancers will present an in-studio performance highlighting classical variations and original choreography and showcase pieces to be held at the conclusion of the workshops for parents and their guests.


Please come already dressed and do not plan to change clothes. Please bring your personal water and food, not to be shared.

The studio will be disinfected and cleaned daily and every effort will be made to keep social distancing.
